Financial Aid Resources

  • MEFA.ORG is a great source of financial aid information and offers multiple webinars for college planning, college saving and FAFSA/CSS Profile completion including the series, “Financial Aid 101” which is available both live and recorded and offered throughout the school year. This program provides an overview of the entire financial aid process. Sign up for upcoming sessions at mefa.org/webinar/financial-aid-101-2025-26/ 

  • UAspire.org is another great source of information for students/families from underrepresented communities offering several programs including webinars, financial aid resources, virtual events for students, a college cost calculator and a scholarship toolkit.

  • MASFA (Tuition Equity Form) is the application for eligible non-US citizens to access state financial aid at MA public higher ed institutions-complete this instead of FAFSA. For more information contact the Office of Student Financial Assistance at 617-391-6070 or osfa@osfa.mass.edu.  

  • MASSGrant & MASSGRANT Plus are financial aid grant programs for income-eligible undergraduate students who reside in Mass and who are enrolled in a state college/university. These programs are based on financial need as determined by the FAFSA and do not require a separate application. Go to Mass.gov for more information on these programs and other Mass Financial Aid opportunities.    

  • Brockton Area Educational Opportunity Center: This was founded to meet the college planning needs of families from low-income and first-generation backgrounds. They are a source of assistance in identifying career options, building a balanced college list, applying for financial aid (including help with FAFSA), and searching for scholarships.
