Gap Year

The gap year has become increasingly popular and widely accepted by college admissions. Students typically take a year off between high school and college to pursue something educational, service-related, and meaningful. The programs vary from opportunities for learning, internships, volunteering, and travel. Some students split the year between an educational pursuit and a work/service opportunity.
