FOXBOROUGH HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER SCHOOL 2023
The Foxborough High School Summer School Program will be held at FHS beginning on June 26, 2023 for Foxborough High School students only. Students will be taking their course/courses through our online platform, Educere. Although the class is online, students are required to attend the sessions in person. We will have a staff member to help students navigate their courses, but they will not be providing direct instruction.
To be eligible for Summer School, students need to have earned a 55% or better in their course for the year. Students who did not meet the 55% benchmark will repeat the course next school year.
Foxborough Public Schools is covering the cost of Summer School, so it is free for our students. Guidance Counselors will register students for their approved class/classes.
Summer School will be held in the FHS Media Center from 8:00-11:00 am for eight days.
Week 1: June 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th
Week 2: July 5th, 6th, and 7th
Students are required to attend each 3-hour session for eight days and complete the assignments to earn a passing grade for the course. In the Summer School sessions, students who miss more than one day and/or do not have a passing grade will not earn credit for the class.
On the first day of class (Monday, June 26th), there will be a quick orientation to discuss the rules and expectations for Summer School. All students are expected to abide by the code of conduct. Those who do not abide by these rules risk being asked to leave the program and not earn credit.
Classes will begin immediately after the orientation.
